ADHD Testing & Diagnosis

Finding Clarity, Confidence, and a Path Forward

If you’ve been wondering whether you or your child might have ADHD, autism, or both, you’re not alone. Many families and adults live for years with unanswered questions, bouncing between Google searches, quick screenings, and mixed advice from schools or primary care providers.
The uncertainty can be exhausting — and it’s even harder when you’re facing school challenges, workplace struggles, or daily frustrations without clear answers.

At Keystone Counseling, we believe you deserve clarity without the endless waitlists or confusing processes. Our ADHD Testing & Diagnosis service is designed to give you answers you can trust — and a plan you can actually use.

Why Clarity Matters

A diagnosis isn’t about putting a label on someone — it’s about understanding how their brain works so we can match them with the right tools, supports, and opportunities.

Without a clear evaluation:

  • Children may miss out on school accommodations like IEPs or 504 Plans.

  • Adults may continue to struggle in work or college without adjustments.

  • Families may feel stuck, unsure how to help their loved one succeed.

We’re here to change that.

What Makes Our Approach Different

We don’t believe in “quick-fix” online tests or one-size-fits-all evaluations. ADHD and autism are complex, and symptoms can overlap with other conditions like anxiety, depression, or learning differences. That’s why we use a gold-standard, neuro-affirming approach that looks at the full picture.

Here’s how it works:

01

Triage & Intake

We start with a comprehensive interview and review of your history, forms, and any past evaluations. Intake and interviews can often be done via telehealth for convenience.

02

Multi-informant Data Collection

For children, we gather input from parents, teachers, and sometimes coaches or other caregivers. For adults, we combine self-report tools with input from someone who knows you well.

03

Evidence-Based Testing & Observation

ADHD tools: Conners, Vanderbilt, ASRS-5, and executive function assessments. Autism tools: ADOS-2 observational assessment, caregiver interview (ADI-R), and adaptive functioning scales when needed.

04

Integration & Diagnosis

We analyze results from all tools, rule out other conditions, and confirm (or rule out) a diagnosis.

The Results You Can Expect

  • Confidence in the answer — you’ll know what’s going on and why.

  • Actionable documentation — ready to take to schools, employers, or other providers.

  • A personalized roadmap — so you’re not left wondering what to do next.

  • Faster access to help — without spending months or years on a waitlist.

Real Support, Real People

Our clinicians are trained in the gold-standard tools used worldwide for ADHD and autism evaluation, including the ADOS-2 and Conners scales. But more importantly, we listen. We know how emotional this journey can be — whether you’re a parent advocating for your child or an adult finally seeking answers for yourself.

We’ll walk you through each step, explain the “why” behind every part of the process, and make sure you feel supported the whole way.
